The quickest way is the PhilHealth Member Portal, at memberinquiry.philhealth.gov.ph/member (PhilHealth’s own site). You log in with your 12-digit PhilHealth Identification Number (PIN) and pay by Visa or Mastercard, GCash or Maya. PhilHealth issues an electronic receipt and, it says, posts the payment the next day. You can also pay through the GCash app or at the banks and payment centres PhilHealth accredits, including three that take payments from abroad. If you pay your own premium, get your Statement of Premium Account (SPA) first and pay exactly the amount on it.
Before you pay
- Your PIN. Every channel asks for it. If you don’t have one, register with PhilHealth first. See PhilHealth online registration.
- The right amount. In 2026 the premium is 5% of monthly income, from PHP 500 to PHP 5,000 a month. Land-based OFWs pay all of it. See the PhilHealth contribution table or work it out with the PhilHealth contribution calculator.
- Your Statement of Premium Account (SPA). PhilHealth Advisory No. 2026-0016 says self-paying members, meaning self-earning people, professionals and overseas Filipinos except sea-based workers, must get their SPA before paying. Circular No. 2026-0011 says the SPA is generated automatically on the first day of each month you owe, shows the premium due, the due date and how to pay, and that “Premium payments must match the amount indicated on the presented SPA”. The rule becomes strict from 1 January 2027; during 2026 PhilHealth may accept payments without an SPA in some cases, such as system problems.
Where to get your SPA: in the Member Portal, from PhilHealth’s SPA generator (enter your PIN, name, the months and your monthly income), or at a PhilHealth office. If it is wrong, you can make a new one in the portal or the generator, or ask any PhilHealth office to fix it.
Paying through the member portal
PhilHealth’s advisories describe it this way:
- Log in to the Member Portal with your PIN.
- Open or download your SPA.
- Pay by Visa or Mastercard debit or credit card, GCash or Maya.
- Keep the Electronic Premium Acknowledgement Receipt (ePAR). PhilHealth says the payment posts to your account the following day.
PhilHealth has not published written screen-by-screen steps; its downloads page has a video instead. The portal also shows your posted contributions and your dependents, and lets you update your record.
Through the GCash app, PhilHealth Advisory No. 2024-0065 gives these steps:
- Open GCash and tap “Bills”.
- Choose “Government” and search for “PhilHealth”.
- Enter the amount on your SPA, your member type and your 12-digit PhilHealth number, then either the SPA number or the payor’s name. Check the start and end dates of the period.
- Review everything, tap “Confirm” and save the receipt.
Accredited collecting agents
PhilHealth’s list of accredited collecting agents, copied on 20 October 2026 in PhilHealth’s own order. We don’t rank or recommend any of them. PhilHealth’s page shows no fees.
- Over the counter: Bank of Commerce, Bank One Savings Corporation, Camalig Bank, Century Rural Bank, Century Savings Bank, China Bank Savings, Citystate Savings Bank, CIS Bayad Center, Development Bank of the Philippines, ECPAY, Land Bank of the Philippines, selected local government units, Money Mall Rural Bank, Penbank, Philippine Business Bank, RCBC, Rural Bank of Bambang (Nueva Vizcaya), Rural Bank of Jose Panganiban (Camarines Norte), SM Mart, UCPB Savings Bank and Union Bank of the Philippines.
- Online: BPI (Bizlink), MYEG Philippines, Land Bank (EPS), Security Bank (Digibanker), UnionBank (OneHUB) and the PNPI eGov facility. PhilHealth’s page still calls it BancNet; Advisory No. 2026-0044 says BancNet became PNPI on 1 June 2026, with no action needed from members.
- Mobile app: GCash (G-Xchange).
- Overseas: Bank of Commerce, Development Bank of the Philippines and Ventaja International Corporation.
At a counter, show your SPA’s QR code or fill in the agent’s payment slip, and keep a copy as proof (Advisory No. 2026-0016). Someone can pay for you at a PhilHealth office with your signed authorisation letter, a government ID of yours and one of theirs (Circular No. 2026-0011).
Paying from abroad
- Online from anywhere: the Member Portal (card, GCash, Maya) works from abroad. Advisory No. 2024-0048 says land-based migrant workers can generate their SPA and pay there “anytime, anywhere”.
- Overseas collecting agents: Bank of Commerce, Development Bank of the Philippines and Ventaja International Corporation, on PhilHealth’s list.
- How often: Advisory No. 2026-0042 says OFWs can pay monthly, quarterly, every six months or yearly. On PHP 30,000 a month, for example, that is PHP 1,500 a month, PHP 4,500 a quarter, PHP 9,000 for six months or PHP 18,000 a year.
- Paying ahead: Circular No. 2026-0011 lets self-paying members pay “any number of applicable months”, as long as the year’s premiums are settled by 31 December. PhilHealth doesn’t set out a rule for paying into a future year.
- Help: Advisory No. 2026-0042 points overseas Filipinos to PhilHealth’s assigned account specialists, or the Corporate Action Center at (02) 8662-2588 (+63 2 8662 2588 from abroad) or actioncenter@philhealth.gov.ph.
Checking it posted
- Check your posted contributions in the Member Portal or the eGov PH Super App (Advisory No. 2026-0042). Portal payments post the next day.
- Keep your receipts. Advisory No. 2026-0054 says lost PhilHealth agents’ receipts “are deemed cancelled/withdrawn and cannot be presented as proof of records of payments”.
- Deadlines. Under Circular No. 2026-0011, self-paying members must settle each year’s premiums by 31 December. Last year’s can be paid without interest until 31 January; after that, interest applies. Some older PhilHealth web pages still show monthly and quarterly deadlines; the circular is the current rule.
- Missed payments don’t stop your benefits, but you must pay them with interest (Circular No. 2026-0011). Circular No. 2026-0010 offers a one-time waiver of interest on missed premiums from November 2019 to December 2025, if you pay your 2026 premiums, register with a YAKAP clinic and update your record, among other conditions.
- Keep your income, contact details and dependents up to date. See the PhilHealth Member Data Record.
