The card Pag-IBIG issues today is the Pag-IBIG Loyalty Card Plus. It is a member card and a cash card in one: Pag-IBIG can pay your loan money, savings claims and MP2 yearly payouts straight onto it, and it gets you discounts at Pag-IBIG’s partner shops. Active members with an MID number can apply in person at any Pag-IBIG branch. The card fee is PHP 125, and Pag-IBIG says you get the card on the spot.
What you can use it for
According to Circular No. 450 and the Loyalty Card Plus page:
- Receiving money from Pag-IBIG. Loan proceeds, provident benefit claims and MP2 yearly dividend payouts can be credited directly to the card. Circular No. 487 also lists it as one of the ways to receive matured MP2 savings.
- Pag-IBIG transactions. The card “may be used in all Pag-IBIG Fund transactions”. It is “not considered a government ID”, so don’t count on it as an ID elsewhere.
- Discounts. Pag-IBIG says the card gets “exclusive discounts and rewards from over 500+ Loyalty Card partners”. The current partner list and discounts are on the Loyalty Card Plus page. We don’t list them here because they change.
The cash card side is run with partner banks. On 20 October 2026 Pag-IBIG’s page named Asia United Bank (AUB) and UnionBank as the banks whose staff take the card fee at the branch.
Who can get one and what to bring
Circular No. 450 says the card is for:
- active Pag-IBIG members, or
- MP2 members who are retirees and chose yearly dividend payout.
You must have a Pag-IBIG MID number. If you don’t know yours, see how to find your Pag-IBIG MID number.
What to bring:
- the Loyalty Card Plus Application Form (PFF108), filled in; you can download it from pagibigfund.gov.ph or get one at the branch;
- the PHP 125 card fee (the circular says “not more than Php125.00”).
How to apply
The steps on Pag-IBIG’s Loyalty Card Plus page:
- Go to any Pag-IBIG branch.
- Hand in the filled-in application form and pay the PHP 125 card fee to the partner bank’s staff (AUB or UnionBank).
- Have your photo, fingerprints and signature taken.
- Get your Loyalty Card Plus on the spot.
Some employers host a Pag-IBIG enrolment kiosk at their office, which the circular also allows. Ask your HR team.
Getting one as an OFW
Circular No. 450 names only two places to apply: a Pag-IBIG branch, or a kiosk at an employer’s office. It says members “shall personally apply”. Pag-IBIG’s site gives no way to apply from abroad, so the usual route is a branch visit while you are home.
If you can’t get home, ask your nearest Pag-IBIG Overseas Service Desk. Pag-IBIG lists desks in Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Japan, Milan, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Kuwait, Qatar and Riyadh on its OFW page.
The card matters most to OFWs who have no Philippine bank account. Under Circular No. 487, MP2 money for members without one is held as Accounts Payable instead of being paid out, while a member with a Loyalty Card Plus can be paid onto the card. From 1 December 2026, Circular No. 503 moves Pag-IBIG payouts to electronic channels: the Loyalty Card Plus or a disbursement card, a LANDBANK account, or a nominated bank or non-bank account or an accredited cash payout outlet. See how to withdraw MP2 savings.
Lost card, replacement and activation
Circular No. 450 says:
- If your card is lost, stolen, damaged or captured by an ATM, ask the partner bank that issued it for a replacement. You pay the cost of the new card.
- A defective card is replaced free within the three-year warranty.
Report a lost card to the issuing bank straight away, as you would any cash card, so nobody can draw money from it. Pag-IBIG’s site does not set out separate activation steps for cards issued on the spot. If yours needs activating, the partner bank’s staff at the branch will tell you how.
Card, MID number and Virtual Pag-IBIG
These three are linked:
- Your MID number is your Pag-IBIG membership number. You need it to apply for the card.
- Virtual Pag-IBIG is your online account, where you check savings and file claims. When you file an MP2 maturity claim online, the card is one of the ways to be paid. See our guide to Virtual Pag-IBIG.
- If you aren’t a member yet, start with Pag-IBIG online registration.
The rest of what Pag-IBIG offers OFWs is in our Pag-IBIG guide for OFWs.
Questions people ask
Is Pag-IBIG Loyalty Card an ATM card?
The Loyalty Card Plus has a cash card function, run with Pag-IBIG's partner banks (AUB and UnionBank). Pag-IBIG can credit loan proceeds, provident claims and MP2 yearly payouts to it (Circular No. 450). It is not a government ID, but it can be used in all Pag-IBIG transactions.
