How to pay Pag-IBIG contributions and MP2 online

Last checked

The simplest way is “Pay Online” in Virtual Pag-IBIG, Pag-IBIG’s own site, or one of the channels Pag-IBIG lists, such as GCash. Before you pay, have the right number ready, because each kind of payment uses its own: your MID number for Regular Savings and cash loans, your MP2 account number for MP2, and your Housing Account Number for a housing loan. Pick the matching payment type.

Paying through Virtual Pag-IBIG

Virtual Pag-IBIG’s “Pay Online” takes payments for Regular Savings, MP2 Savings, housing loans and the housing loan processing fee, Multi-Purpose Loans and Calamity Loans. The Virtual Pag-IBIG FAQ says many of its services work without an account.

The steps on Pag-IBIG’s Regular Savings page:

  1. Go to Virtual Pag-IBIG and have your MID number ready.
  2. Click “Pay Online” and choose the payment type, for example “Regular Savings”.
  3. Fill in your details.
  4. Choose how to pay and confirm. The page shows Maya, QR Ph and GCash.

Other channels Pag-IBIG lists

Pag-IBIG’s own lists, copied on 20 October 2026, in the order Pag-IBIG gives them and with the fees Pag-IBIG states. We don’t recommend any of them over another.

Regular Savings (Pag-IBIG’s Regular Savings payments page): GCash (PHP 7), Maya (PHP 5), ECPay at 7-Eleven (PHP 7), Bayad Center (PHP 7), SM Business Center (PHP 5), M Lhuillier (PHP 7), Cebuana Lhuillier (PHP 7), Landbank (no charge), Metrobank (no charge) and AUB (PHP 7).

MP2 Savings (Pag-IBIG’s MP2 payments page): online through AUB, Bayad Center, BPI eGov or ECPay, GCash, Landbank and Maya; over the counter at AUB, Bayad Center, M Lhuillier and SM Business Center. AUB online banking charges PHP 5 per payment, according to the page.

From about 21 February 2027, cash and check payments at Pag-IBIG branches end. Under Circular No. 500, every payment needs a Payment Reference Number (PRN), branch payments go through electronic channels, and channels may charge a convenience fee. Branches take cash and checks only during a six-month transition after the circular took effect.

Paying from abroad

Pag-IBIG’s OFW page lists these online channels: Virtual Pag-IBIG, Asia United Bank (Hello Money, PHP 10 fee), GCash (PHP 7), Philippine National Bank and Ventaja PayRemit. It gives PayRemit’s fee as PHP 7 on one page and “Depends on the country of origin” on another, so check before you pay.

GCash from abroad, as Pag-IBIG’s OFW page describes it:

  1. In GCash, go to “Bills”, then “Government”.
  2. Choose “Pag-IBIG OFW/Local” as the biller.
  3. Choose the payment type.
  4. Enter the 12-digit MID number (savings and cash loans), the 12-digit MP2 account number (MP2) or the 12-digit Housing Account Number (housing loan).
  5. Enter your region or country, the period covered and the amount.
  6. Confirm the payment.

To use GCash overseas you register with your international mobile number; the page says the country code must match where you live, and only Filipinos can sign up.

Over the counter abroad. Pag-IBIG’s OFW page has a searchable list of about 230 accredited remittance and collecting partners worldwide, including PNB branches and remittance offices, Ventaja tie-up outlets and exchange houses. Filter it by country rather than relying on any list we could copy. At a PNB overseas branch, Pag-IBIG says you give the details of what you are paying and get a remittance receipt with a Transaction Reference Number.

Choosing the right payment type

Regular Savings, MP2 and each kind of loan are separate accounts. Money paid to one does not count for another.

  • Regular Savings is your monthly contribution. See Pag-IBIG contributions.
  • MP2 needs your MP2 account number and at least PHP 500 per payment. Under Circular No. 487, more than PHP 500,000 on the same day must be by personal or manager’s check; Pag-IBIG has not said how that works once branch check payments end, so confirm first. If you don’t have an MP2 account yet, see how to open an MP2 account, and for the rules, MP2 savings explained.
  • Loans use the MID number (cash loans) or the Housing Account Number.

Paid to the wrong one? Pag-IBIG’s Citizen’s Charter mentions reclassifying “erroneously paid remittances”, so it can be fixed, but Pag-IBIG doesn’t publish the steps for members. Contact Pag-IBIG with your receipt: the Contact Center at contactus@pagibigfund.gov.ph or, from abroad, OFW OwnLINE at ofw_ownline@pagibigfund.gov.ph.

Checking it posted

  • After a GCash or Maya payment, Pag-IBIG’s pages say to wait for a text message confirming the payment.
  • With a Virtual Pag-IBIG account, you can see your Regular Savings and MP2 records, including payments, in “View Records”. See Virtual Pag-IBIG from abroad.
  • Keep the receipt or reference number until the payment shows.

Pag-IBIG does not say how long a payment takes to show in your records. If it hasn’t appeared after a reasonable time, contact Pag-IBIG with the receipt. The rest of Pag-IBIG is on our Pag-IBIG guide for OFWs.
